World Champion On-Road Nitro RC Kit with Advanced Features
Mugen Seiki proudly presents the MRX7 1/8 4WD On-Road Nitro Competition Racing Car Kit, the latest generation in their championship-winning lineup. Proven on the track by Simon Kurzbuch, who secured TQ and a runner-up finish at the EFRA European Championship with the prototype, the MRX7 is built for performance at the highest level. This kit has been carefully adapted to meet the current demands of the 1/8 on-road category, blending innovation with proven components from its predecessor. Extensive testing and refinements in suspension geometry, weight distribution, and reliability make the MRX7 a formidable choice for competitive racers.
About the MRX7 1/8 Competition Racing Car Kit
Chassis Design
The MRX7 features a redesigned aluminum chassis with a lower motor position and reinforced side brace for added strength. Its slim lower deck design enhances both aesthetics and performance, while multiple areas allow racers to fine-tune weight distribution. The battery is positioned under the fuel tank for improved balance, and the exhaust mounting system reduces vibrations, ensuring smoother operation during high-speed racing.
Drivetrain & Fuel System
Reliability and efficiency define the MRX7’s drivetrain. All pulleys are secured with screws instead of E-clips, improving durability under stress. The aluminum gear shaft reduces overall weight, while the front belt runs in a central position for consistent power transfer. Racers can configure the front one-way and rear solid axle in both lower and higher positions. Complementing this is a redesigned fuel tank that maximizes engine consistency and allows volume adjustments with inserts.
Suspension & Refined Body Mount System
Handling precision is achieved through a modern suspension system with narrow track width geometry and adjustable front wheelbase. Rear uprights with aluminum inserts provide flexible positioning, while the advanced damper mounting system enhances stability. The lightweight carbon body mount uses height-adjustable arms with a turnbuckle system, offering rigidity and customization. Additional guides can be added to stiffen lightweight bodyshells, and the improved front body post ensures secure clip placement.
